Authentix Partners with ARMOR-IIMAK to Deliver Security Thermal Transfer Ribbons to Combat Counterfeiting and Diversion

ADDISON, Texas, June 26, 2024 – Authentix, the authority in supply chain authentication and information services, announces an exclusive relationship with ARMOR-IIMAK to supply brand owners and their authorized contract manufacturers a new covert security ink available in thermal transfer ribbon format.

These new Security Thermal Transfer Ribbons were co-developed with ARMOR-IIMAK and are exclusively manufactured and available only through Authentix. ARMOR-IIMAK has been a worldwide leader in the thermal transfer ribbon printing industry since 1983. These new security printing ribbons include a specialized, covert ink that are drop in ready and compatible with most thermal transfer ribbon printers on the market today. These security thermal transfer ribbons are available in different roll formats, enabling brand owners and manufacturers to rapidly make the transition to security printing as easy as changing the printer ribbon. The new security ribbons can be applied to a wide range of existing industries now using thermal transfer ribbon printing including apparel, footwear, automotive, electronics, and many more.
