  • KEVIN MCKENNA

    Chief Executive Officer

    Kevin McKenna serves as the company’s President and CEO. His career spans over 20 years of management experience in information technology and security industries.

    He joined Authentix in 2012 and has served in various management capacities touching all Authentix markets as President of Oil and Gas as well as General Manager of the Brand and Currency and Tax Stamp businesses. He most recently served as the Chief Sales and Services Officer responsible for global sales and all customer engagements.

    Prior to joining Authentix he most recently served as Vice President of Sales, Americas for HID Government ID Solutions. He has also served as Vice President of Sales for LaserCard and was Director of Government Solutions for L-1 Identity Solutions. McKenna began his career at IBM Global Services. McKenna served for seven years as an Aviation Officer in the US Army following his graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds an MS degree in Engineering Management from the Missouri University of Science & Technology.

    • CHRISTOPHER ECK

      Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel

      As the Chief Administration Officer and General Counsel, Christopher Eck brings over 30 years’ experience as a lawyer and senior leader in private practice and corporate legal departments in public and privately held companies. He is a member of the State Bar of Pennsylvania, and formerly a member of the Oregon and Washington bars. Eck originally hails from Pittsburgh.

      His previous roles include Chief Legal Officer for Axia Technology Partners, Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at The Finish Line, Inc., and General Counsel, International Affairs with General Nutrition Centers. He is a graduate of The College of Holy Cross and received his law degree from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College.

  • DAVID B. BROWN

    Chief Financial Officer

    David B. Brown is the Chief Financial Officer for Authentix. His is responsible for integrating business and finance strategy to further expand the global presence of Authentix and drive growth into key markets. Bringing over thirty years of global financial leadership in the public and private sectors, Brown also oversees global finance, treasury, accounting, and taxation activities.

    Brown’s career began in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and he has served in executive roles with LSG Sky Chefs, Brink’s Company, Dresser, Tellabs and Trillium Flow Technologies, as well as working as an independent director and audit committee chair for Perma-Pipe International Holdings, Inc.

    Brown holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas, Austin and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

  • KENT MANSFIELD

    Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

    Kent Mansfield is the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Authentix. He is responsible for aligning our solutions and expertise to the operations of key business units to build and maintain our global brand and drive market development in key areas.

    Mansfield also oversees global sales and marketing for our Government Oil & Gas Programs and Brand Protection. Mansfield’s 25-year career is built on extensive experience growing market share in security, brand protection, and advanced technology industries. He was part of the original executive team, which created Authentix from the merger of Isotag and Biocode in 2003.

    He began his career in the commercial and investment banking sectors before entering the security industry in 1995. He has since held executive positions with Authentix, Ultrak – Europe, Smart Holograms (UK), and TruTag Technologies helping these companies grow global market share in both brand protection and physical security solutions. Mansfield holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University.

  • TIM DRISCOLL, PH.D.

    Chief Technology Officer

    Dr. Tim Driscoll is the Chief Technology Officer for Authentix. He is responsible for all research, innovation and new product development.

    Dr. Driscoll joined Authentix in 2005 and has been a key contributor to the success of Authentix over the years. Previously, Dr. Driscoll was employed by Spectra Systems, serving as VP, Materials Engineering and VP, Business Development, where he was responsible for the design, development, and implementation of advanced optical security feature platforms for banknotes, passports, and brand product authentication.

    Dr. Driscoll holds a Ph.D. and Masters degree in Physics from Brown University and a B.S. in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Following his Ph.D., Dr. Driscoll conducted his post-doctoral studies at L’Ecole Polytechnique in Palaiseau, France.

  • KRISTI BROWNE

    Chief Operating Officer

    Kristi Browne is responsible for the management of cross-functional groups accountable for implementation and program management for all client programs in the company’s four primary business units. Kristi manages solutions development, production, and logistics on a global basis. Additionally, she supervises Authentix Digital Group which provides advanced digital solutions for product track and trace, on-line brand protection monitoring, and consumer engagement and marketing. Being with Authentix for nearly 20 years gives her unique insight and vision coupled with an ability to manage excellence in delivery of solutions to the company’s high-quality client base.

    Browne holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.

  • STEN BERTELSEN

    Senior Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development

    Sten Bertelsen is responsible for the creation and execution of strategic partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions to grow the Company. He assists augmenting the sales and delivery capabilities across Authentix through external resources for long-term growth and value creation.

    Sten joined Authentix in 2014 as SVP sales and business development and has served as SVP corporate development and SVP EMEA. Previously he spent 13 years with SGS Société General Surveillance in different senior leadership positions including Head of Innovation and managed the Brand Protection and supply chain security businesses. He worked in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions with Merrill Lynch, Citicorp, Hill Samuel in New York, London and Sydney.

    Sten holds a Master of Science in Risk Management from Southampton University, has an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and BA Honors degree from Exeter University and an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist from Tyneside University.

  • JEFF BOWERS

    Senior Vice President of Engineering

    As Senior Vice President of Engineering, Bowers oversees all hardware and software development as well as the global engineering function. He brings more than 20 years of experience leading global development teams in full life cycle product engineering and interfacing with customers to define, deliver and support solutions that meet current and emerging needs.

    Prior to Authentix, Bowers spent 20 years with Giesecke+Devrient in various engineering and software solutions leadership roles. Bower’s career began at the Jonathan Corporation as the Engineering Manager.

    Bowers earned his Master of Business Administration from Duke University – The Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University.

  • CHAD CROUCH

    Senior Vice President, Revenue Operations

    Chad L. Crouch is the Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations for Authentix. He is responsible for sales and revenue operations, solution development, program delivery and the project management office (PMO). Crouch joined Authentix in 2013 and has served in several management capacities including Vice President of Sales and Revenue Operations and Vice President of Program Management.

    Crouch brings over 20 years of experience in the identity management, secure credentialing and product authentication industries. Prior to joining Authentix, Crouch served in multiple program and operational management roles at L-1 Identity Solutions and Safran/MorphoTrust, which were eventually acquired by IDEMIA.

    Crouch earned his Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland – Robert H. School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from George Mason University.
