Chief Executive Officer

    Kevin McKenna serves as the company’s President and CEO. His career spans over 20 years of management experience in information technology and security industries.

    He joined Authentix in 2012 and has served in various management capacities touching all Authentix markets as President of Oil and Gas as well as General Manager of the Brand and Currency and Tax Stamp businesses. He most recently served as the Chief Sales and Services Officer responsible for global sales and all customer engagements.

    Prior to joining Authentix he most recently served as Vice President of Sales, Americas for HID Government ID Solutions. He has also served as Vice President of Sales for LaserCard and was Director of Government Solutions for L-1 Identity Solutions. McKenna began his career at IBM Global Services. McKenna served for seven years as an Aviation Officer in the US Army following his graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds an MS degree in Engineering Management from the Missouri University of Science & Technology.


    Chief Financial Officer

    Dianna MacDonald has more than 20 years of financial and operations experience in private industry having served as CFO of private equity funds as well as private equity-backed companies operating in the manufacturing and retail sectors. She was promoted from the Corporate Controller position to become the company’s CFO in 2017.

    Prior to joining Authentix in 2011, MacDonald served as SVP of Operations and Director of Compliance for the asset management company, Hudson Advisors, serving The Lone Star Fund, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm. MacDonald began her career at KPMG, LLC in the audit group and moved to private industry after six years at KPMG. A certified public accountant, MacDonald has a BA in Accounting from Oregon State University.


    Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel and Secretary

    Mark L. Weintrub brings more than 27 years of combined experience in business operations, regulatory compliance and legal management to the leadership team, overseeing all legal and administrative activities for the company.

    Weintrub previously served as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & Chief Compliance Officer for General Nutrition Centers, Inc.

    Weintrub holds a BS/BA from the University of Missouri School of Business and Public Administration and obtained his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1986. He is a long-standing member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel and is licensed to practice law in the States of Texas, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.


    Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

    Kent Mansfield is the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Authentix. He is responsible for aligning our solutions and expertise to the operations of key business units to build and maintain our global brand and drive market development in key areas.

    Mansfield also oversees global sales and marketing for our Government Oil & Gas Programs and Brand Protection. Mansfield’s 25-year career is built on extensive experience growing market share in security, brand protection, and advanced technology industries. He was part of the original executive team, which created Authentix from the merger of Isotag and Biocode in 2003.

    He began his career in the commercial and investment banking sectors before entering the security industry in 1995. He has since held executive positions with Authentix, Ultrak – Europe, Smart Holograms (UK), and TruTag Technologies helping these companies grow global market share in both brand protection and physical security solutions. Mansfield holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University.


    Chief Technology Officer

    Jeff Conroy, Ph.D., serves as Chief Technology Officer, advancing authentication technologies to deliver superior products. Dr. Conroy has 16 years of experience in technology and business development in the areas of high performance materials, focused on product development with emerging technologies. He organizes and oversees the technology development activities across Authentix businesses including materials and device development.

    Prior to joining Authentix, Dr. Conroy served as a Chemistry Group Lead at Spectra Systems Corporation where he oversaw the development of a proprietary marking technology for the play side of optical discs and covert currency authentication on high speed banknote printers. Prior to Spectra Systems, Dr. Conroy served as Senior Scientist and Vice President of Eikos, Inc., where he was a program manager on a variety of DoD and NASA programs related to high performance composite and optical materials.

    Dr. Conroy has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Brown University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.


    Senior Vice President and General Manager, Currency & Tax Stamp

    Dr. Tim Driscoll is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Currency and Tax Stamp at Authentix. The Currency and Tax Stamp business unit works both directly with Central Banks and revenue agencies as well as with key partners supporting the end clients. His deep technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills have made him an effective business leader and trusted partner to clients.

    Previously, Dr. Driscoll was employed by Spectra Systems, serving as VP, Materials Engineering and VP, Business Development. At Spectra Systems, he was responsible for the design, development, and implementation of advanced optical security feature platforms for banknotes, passports, and brand product authentication.

    Dr. Driscoll holds a Ph.D. and Masters degree in Physics from Brown University and a B.S. in Physics from Renssealaer Polytechnic Institute. Following his Ph.D., Dr. Driscoll conducted his post-doctoral studies at L’Ecole Polytechnique in Palaiseau, France.


    Senior Vice President, Global Services

    In this role, Browne is now responsible for managing cross-functional groups accountable for client programs in Oil & Gas, Brand Protection, Tax Stamps, and Currency business units. Her team handles all program management, solutions development, production, and logistics for our clients on a worldwide basis. Being with Authentix for over 17 years gives her unique insight and vision coupled with an ability to manage excellence in delivery of solutions to the company’s high-quality client base.

    Browne holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.


    Senior Vice President of Engineering

    As Senior Vice President of Engineering, Bowers oversees all hardware and software development as well as the global engineering function. He brings more than 20 years of experience leading global development teams in full life cycle product engineering and interfacing with customers to define, deliver and support solutions that meet current and emerging needs.

    Prior to Authentix, Bowers spent 20 years with Giesecke+Devrient in various engineering and software solutions leadership roles. Bower’s career began at the Jonathan Corporation as the Engineering Manager.

    Bowers earned his Master of Business Administration from Duke University – The Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University.
