ADDISON, Texas, May 27, 2026 – Authentix, a global leader in Brand Protection and Government Authentication Programs, today announced it has signed a Partnering Agreement with m-u-t GmbH, an innovator in optical systems and cloud software that authenticate items using their inherent spectral signatures.
Built on m-u-t’s NIRONE® near infrared (NIR) spectral platform, Authentix will introduce portable analyzers and cloud-based software that can verify the authenticity and quality of both solid and liquid materials in seconds, without adding tags, markers, or additives. Results are delivered through a dedicated mobile app that connects to secure, cloud-hosted spectral models.
The companies will collaborate on the rollout of the Authentix Portable Intrinsic Properties Analyzer (PIPA™) platform for sectors including pharmaceuticals, nicotine products, spirits, biologics, and fuels. The Authentix PSX1500TM is designed for solid materials, while the FSX1500 TM targets liquids. Authentix and m-u-t will also jointly market the platform under the agreement.
