ADDISON, Texas, July 21, 2026 – Authentix, a global leader in government authentication programs, today announced that it has executed a five-year contract as part of a local consortium led by Inspekt RGH Sarajevo and will serve as the exclusive provider of the fuel marking technology for the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s newly established national fuel marking program.
The establishment of the fuel marking program is provided for under the Rulebook on the System of Mandatory Marking of Liquid Petroleum Fuels, recently adopted by the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The program is designed to combat the grey economy and illicit fuel trade, prevent the misuse and adulteration of petroleum products, protect consumers from low-quality fuel, promote fair market competition, strengthen regulatory oversight and improve the collection of public revenues. With the introduction of the new fuel marking solution, the authorities expect greater control of the quality of fuel on the market and provide stronger protection for citizens and legitimate businesses.
