ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Security Designers Forum (SDF) is a dedicated forum for those involved in design and design decision-making in relation to secure documents such as banknotes, IDs and passports to learn, exchange knowledge and develop new ideas. The Forum will create value for the design community by addressing the real issues and providing fresh insights and thought-provoking solutions to make future banknote or passport designs a success. Authentix is hosting a session on Human Centered Security Design at the event.

Mark Spencer
SVP, Product, Marketing and Design
Mark has over 20 years of experience across pivotal positions in banknote design, production, and product management. With De La Rue and Crane Currency, supporting design, substrates, security features, and print manufacturing sites. During this time, he has launched over 450 new banknote designs and five currency products. Kyle Norby
Creative Technical Director
Kyle is a Motion Designer with 20 years of experience creating advanced technical graphics, including 2D/3D animation, modeling, lighting, rigging, compositing, and creative direction. Educated at a private art university near Disney-Pixar, he was influenced by industry mentors and later expanded his expertise through agency work in San Francisco and Seattle, as well as teaching at two art universities. Today, Kyle applies his passion for technical visual challenges to the banknote security industry, creating sophisticated holographic and OVD security features.
Nicole Chang
Senior Product & Graphic Designer
With 15 years of design experience, including 9 years focused on authentication and banknote security, Nicole specializes in nano-optic security feature design. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Product Design from Otis College of Art and Design, she combines creativity with a deep understanding of authentication requirements. Nicole designs visually striking, counterfeit-resistant OVDs that enhance public authentication while telling compelling stories through modern, customized security features. Her work helps governments and central banks create banknotes that are both highly secure and visually engaging.
