LumaChrome®

Color-Shifting Film for Product Authentication

LumaChrome® optical thin film is based on the optical interference characteristics of deposited thin films via nano scale structures for high production manufacturing.

Available in multiple formats and a variety of color shift pairs, LumaChrome® is a highly versatile and powerful tool for securing packaging, labels or products. Its crisp color shift produces a more secure feature as opposed to surface-printed optically interactive features and inks.

Optical thin films like LumaChrome® provide the strongest level of security and easiest to verify for counterfeit prevention. They are easy to visually recognize at considerable distance, multiple angles and variable lighting conditions. With LumaChrome®, Authentix creates a durable, long-lasting security feature that will not degrade over the lifetime of the substrate.

LiveOptik® is a proprietary brand protection overt security solution utilizing Authentix's exclusive and patented Nano Optic platform.

Using nano spectral features less than one tenth the size of traditional holography or micro-optics, LiveOptik security films and labels can be customized to customers’ design and functional preferences to include multi-color, 3D depth, vivid animation, image switching, formats films, and converted labels.

Manufactured in a high-tech cleanroom environment, this nano optic authentication technology uses the world’s most sophisticated nano-fabrication techniques that are virtually impossible to replicate.

These security labels carry a unique covert spectral signature with a variety of codes only detected by Authentix proprietary devices. In
many cases, these can be detected through a layer of outside packaging and are compatible with multiple methods of printing, varnishes, coatings, and integrated into plastic components.
